Dream Oracle Series: Syntaurus by Seraph Sanchez
Three temple maidens are running for their lives. The bandits have suddenly sprung from their hiding among the mountain pass to ambush the maidens’ caravan. As the temple maiden’s security is quickly being killed all around them, each knows that at least one of them must survive to get to the Dream Oracle. They must warn her of a Supreme Overlord named Kronos. The temple maidens have information that Kronos plans to kill the Dream Oracle and all with her in order to use their powers for conquering the temple maidens’ planets and the universe. Time is running out for the people of Syntaurus and the universe if Kronos can’t be stopped.

What Inspired You to Write Your Book?
The inspiration for 'Syntaurus' was the amazing manner persons deal with overwhelming challenges and still manage to come out on top and to also somehow find love. With the many challenges facing many in today's times, I want to focus upon the amazing strength and resolve many show in going up against these challenges. In the midst of overwhelming challenges, persons still find a way to love and grow in that love. 'Syntaurus' was written with the human ability to love and conquer that which may befall any of us to become heroes.
How Did You Come up With Your Characters?
The characters are based upon real women and men who I have encountered. They faced real challenges, real pain, real dreams and nightmares. 'Syntaurus provided me with the means to write about their healing and heroic life journeys through this fantastic story. They found support from others. They found strength from within to deal with overwhelming challenges. They found strength in love. They found strength is something greater than themselves. I borrow from their lives to build upon the characters in the book.
Book Sample
The leader of the bandits trying to quickly make out the danger level of what he sees before him. He sees the temple maidens are on the ground at the feet of two women. These two, strange, badass, warrior women are flanked by two impressive looking men. The leader studies closely one of the women who has a hood and cape that covers most of her face except for her nose, mouth, and chin. He notices she is dressed in an outfit he does not recognize from any of the people he has run across in their raids. Very noticeable to the leader is the magical blue power emanating from a large gemstone piece of jewelry on her wrist and most of her arm. This piece of jewelry seems to the bandit leader to be what is powering a blue shield surrounding herself, surrounding the three temple maidens, surrounding the other young woman wearing strange black battle armor with golden designs. The bandit leader studies the shield surrounding a man dressed in a strange black outfit with white shirt and no weapons evident. He gawks as the shield protecting another very large man who looks to be some kind of warrior with a very massive sword sparking of blue energy. In moments, the leader decides what needs to be done after looking over the situation and thinking about being so close to success in killing the temple maidens.
